When we start to interrupt calling ourselves names or patting ourselves on the back, we are doing something extremely brave. Slowly we move towards an open state, moving towards a place of no handholds, no footholds, no mind-holds, giving us a feeling of freedom.
In spring we had to struggle to make the ascendancy of the year. In summer we reveled in the glory of fire and vigor. Now the fiery activity of summer is replaced by the celebration of autumn; now we can begin to let things relax and look forward to mellowness and quietness.
Not all spiritual paths lead to the truth, most are detours and distractions. Trust the plainness and simplicity of your life’s paths, living with unconditional sincerity, eradicating all duality, celebrating the equality of all things; then every moment will be the truth.
To find your true nature seek harmony and balance in the five virtues: benevolence, justice, courtesy, knowledge, and truthfulness. If you work diligently in this way, you will be able to assist others and the world to find this balance and bringing tranquility to all.
