To be fearless, is not really to overcome fear, it’s to come to know its nature. To do this, develop compassion for yourself and others and not always wanting things to work out on your own terms, just be curious. Relax, befriend your feelings, then you begin to understand.
Meditation gives you the opportunity to disengage in everyday activities. Give your mind a rest for a few minutes each day and give your body a chance to draw energy from the earth. Don’t do anything except to sit quietly, letting the thoughts go and bringing the mind home.
Cultivate inner strength and tranquility. If you succumb to frivolities and agitated emotions, you will lose your inner strength and tranquility. Participate directly in every moment and no mental concepts or attitudes will be able to disturb your tranquility.
Remember everyday of our lives is part of a continuum of change and development. When responding to change, do not respond to isolated events but respond to the whole process. Find innovative and new ways to respond to changes avoid your old habitual ways.
Quote: When clarity and stillness are used together you can transcend the world, while in the world.
