Every cell in our body is continuously changing, we are as impermanent as everything else. Thoughts and emotions of being competent or that we’re hopeless rise and fall unceasingly. We are only basing these thoughts on the past and the fixed idea of who we are.
Life acquires meaning when we face the conflicts between our desires and reality. Sometimes things we want just come to us without effort, but most of the time it takes effort to make things happen and achieve our goals, but this effort is what brings meaning to our life.
If you blame someone else for your failures, there is no end to the blaming. The wise see failure as an opportunity to learn and accept all responsibility for their mistakes. Fulfill your own obligations, correct all your mistakes, do what you need to do without demanding from others.
If you are faced with a superior foe, it would be hopeless to fight them. An orderly retreat is the correct procedure and looking for small ways to minimize the effect. It is by no means a sign of strength or courage to engage in a hopeless struggle regardless of circumstances.
Quote: Recognize everything as an illusion, especially one who recognizes everything as an illusion.
