We don’t open our hearts and minds to others because it confuses us and we don’t feel brave or sane enough to open up. To help us open up: look clearly and compassionately at ourselves, feel confident and fearless about looking into someone else’s eyes.
When you feel that events take on a perfect momentum and when you feel this energy in your life, go with this flow as long as it lasts. Don’t try to hold on to it, don’t interfere or try to change it and don’t stop; just ride it for all its worth, relax and enjoy.
Embrace simplicity and integrity, consume only the needs of your body and spirit. Allow your love and concern for others to define your essentiality. If this is not enough, stay in your center and let all things take their course, thusly you will benefit a hundredfold.
Speaking clearly and acting simply in a nonaggressive manner with perseverance will help you succeed at any task. The idea that the yielding overcomes the rigid or the soft overcomes the hard is the wisdom permeating these ancient teachings.
