Are we going to spend this lifetime struggling against uncertainty and saying I’m like this and you’re like that, or are we going to train in letting go, reconnecting with the natural flexibility of our being and help others do the same? If we do this, limitless possibilities open up.
Actions in life can be reduced to two factors, positioning and timing. Almost anything is appropriate if it accords with the time and place, but when life presents us an opportunity, we must be ready to seize it without hesitation or inhibition.
Greed for spirituality is no different than greed for material wealth. It is self-centered and dualistic thinking and an obstacle to your attainment. If you desire spirituality, practice high awareness, undiscriminating virtue and be of service to all of humanity.
In society conflicts are unavoidable, sometimes you have to give up your own interests and ideas to chime in with others but continue to do what you intuitively know is right. However, you must adapt to the demands of the time rather than wear yourself out resisting.
