Self-cultivation takes us just as we are with our confusion and our sanity, it gives us time alone with ourselves. In time it teaches you to accept who you are, as you are. It is an unconditional friendliness with ourselves, a simple direct relationship with the way we are.
Through our life we have failures, humiliation and acquire scars from injuries, both physical and emotional trauma. Healing is up to us and the method we use to heal is up to us alone. Through our own positive practices that we do on a regular basis, we learn how to heal.
When you have no enemy, you will always be victorious. If you have enemies, never underestimate them. Underestimating your enemy is thinking that they are evil, thus you become an enemy yourself. Victory will always go to the one that knows how to yield.
An enthusiastic delightful mood is helpful to your success but gives warning against self-satisfaction. It is easy to indulge in one’s own pleasure and forget the delight of others. The key is humility and sincerity; these two qualities bring harmony, the true meaning of delight.
