Everyday there is more aggression throughout the world and that pain escalates indefinitely. Ask yourself, “Am I going to add to the aggression in the world?” When things get edgy take time to ask yourself, “Am I going to be the aggressor or am I going to practice acceptance and peace?”
As long as there is prejudice, we declare we are unable to know one another, and yet this is exactly a type of prejudice that keeps us from knowing ourselves. As long as we insist we are separate, individual entities apart from the rest of the universe, then we shall never realize the oneness.
If you blame someone else for your failures, there is no end to the blame. The wise see failure as an opportunity and accept all responsibility for their failures. Fulfill your own obligations, correct all your mistakes, do what you need to do without demanding from others.
Humility is not an innate virtue; it must be cultivated over a long period of time. Being humble is not about holding yourself back. Instead act positively by doing things with others cooperatively and harmoniously. The key is to respect and treat everybody equally.
