Trying to find absolute rights and wrongs is a trick we play on ourselves to feel secure and comfortable, but right and wrong are more slippery than this. If we don’t shut anybody out of our hearts, we can’t make anything right or wrong.
To carry on a conflict to the bitter end has evil effects, even if you are right, because the enmity is perpetuated. The only solution is to meet your opponent halfway. Conflict within weakens your power, so you cannot conquer the dangers without. When conflict starts, the best thing to do is drop it, especially when the adversary is stronger.
When nothing is done sincerely, nothing and no one embraces us. Trust your natural responses, trust the intelligence of the body.
