When anger arises, before you go “off”, just pause; go slow instead of acting immediately out of habit. Be honest with yourself what you are feeling. You are not suppressing anything, patience or pausing has nothing to do with suppression, it has everything to do with being gentle and honest with yourself. Relaxing that restless hot energy is the only way you find peace for yourselves and the world.
Loneliness is dwelling in our own egotistical identity because you feel no contact with anybody or anything. People need to feel part of something, to be self sufficient. Self sufficient means being connected with oneself and the cosmos around us. It doesn’t preclude being with others, but, if that is your only source of union you are lonely the rest of the time.
Embrace simplicity, consume only the needs of the body and soul. Allow love and concern for others to define our essentially. Stay in the center and let things take their course.
