When something hurts in life, we want to get rid of it right away. Doing this we naively cultivate a subtle aggressiveness against ourselves. You should use this hurt to become wiser, kinder and more at home to learning what is happening around you.
Consciousness or soul is our deepest most subtle humanity, it is gentle, does not scheme, isn’t aggressive; it is just part of everyday life. Even if we do not consider ourselves a spiritual person, we have many experiences relating to the soul such as “that music stirs the soul”.
We will never suffer loss if we are not attached to anything. Then we can succeed without having to force an outcome. Don’t accumulate possessions. Just devote yourself to the natural rhythms of nature, let things take their natural course, remain calm at the end and the beginning.
Once we have accomplished something, then is the time to be cautious. Keep a proper attitude, for it is tempting to relax and forget about troubling over the details at the finish. In life there are times when everything appears to be balanced and all things in harmony; this is the time to recognize the moments that bode change to an unbalanced state.
