Difficult people teach us how to learn and grow.  We all know people that complain constantly or that are irritated by everything, the world is bad, etc..  When we meet them, we should look for the lessons they can teach us: humility, patience, kindness, just to name a few.

We sometimes feel that a divine being is intervening in human affairs.  There is no divine reason why things happen, we have to accept what happens as a natural and random occurrence in life.  However, such a viewpoint does not preclude any notion of the divine.

When you have no enemy, you will always be victorious.  Never underestimate your enemy, underestimating your enemy is thinking that he is evil, thus you become an enemy yourself.  When two forces oppose each other, victory will always go to the one that knows how to yield.

In an unstable situation if you are humble and gentle you are able to gain peoples support and their trust.  The ancients believed that humility and gentleness were the basic moral qualities that you should possess, but they do not equate with inferiority or weakness.

Quote: When others mess up just be kind to them.
