No matter where you are on your life’s path, either just beginning self-cultivation or practicing for years, as you practice you will become more awake and aware, you further realize you are stepping further into groundlessness and entering into “you know not what”.
There are days when everything feels disengaged and you feel “What is the point of my self practice?”. The planet is a living organism that we are all an integral part of. The world’s pulse is our pulse, the world’s rhythms are our rhythms. Treating it with moderation, love and care is to treat ourselves with love and care. Doing so is being in harmony with ourselves.
There are two kinds of watching. Subjective deals with oneself, it is used to examine your inner motives. Objective deals with others; it is to watch others reactions to your conduct. The wisdom of watching is like looking into a mirror and checking one’s intention and outward conduct.
Quote: Creative and receptive are complementary sides of the same process.
