When we encounter any pleasure or tenderness in our life, we cherish that and rejoice. Then we wish that others also experience this delight. When life is pleasurable think of others, when life is a burden think of others. This practice will benefit us as well as everybody else.
Unify all areas of your life and unify all distinctions into a whole. There cannot be diversity within unity, only in separation. When our consciousness is unified there is only brightness and clarity, all else disperses. Keep returning to this clarity, this way you can embody all things.
Practice the four cardinal virtues. First reverence for all life; love and respect all beings and things. Second, sincerity; this manifests as honesty and simplicity. Third, kindness; being gentle with yourself and others. The fourth, service to others with no expectation of reward.
Being still when it’s time to be still and going forward when it is time to go forward, that way rest and movement agree, this will help you quiet your heart. When you become calm, then you can turn to the outside world as you no longer see the struggle and tumult of individuals.
