Fully acknowledge your sadness and the sadness of life, but do not be consumed by it. Remember your true nature, of balance and completeness, joining vision with practicality. This quality of being continuously awake will help you remember who you really are.
Your consciousness colours your perception of the world around you. It colours such things as your objective reality and your subjective realty. It colours everything, but if you want the highest state of being, aim for a consciousness without colour, where you become one with everything and there is no duality.
We are told to be “good” in the framework of an inhuman world. The ancients tell us to transcend every false premise of our culture, and to be reborn in the form of our essential humanity which needs no tests of performance, wealth, achievement or goodness to validate itself.
Living a life of sincerity and integrity, is not any guarantee against bad luck or ugly surprises. But life has learned that these traits will improve the odds of success, that working with a natural merit and practicing a natural good can be two of the best rules one can live by.
