In these uncertain times the ancient teachings will give you guidance and help you awaken to the fearlessness and clear seeing that you have. The teachings remind us of our fundamental nature, our greatest resource. By following the guidance of the ancient teachings, we will find certainty.
We have many different names for the absolute, the ancients call it the Tao. We cannot know it directly because it has no definitions or references. The only way to fathom it is to remove our sense of division from it, plunge into the mystery itself, only then will we understand.
If you blame someone else for your failures, there is no end to the blaming. The wise see failure as an opportunity to learn and accept all responsibility for their mistakes. Fulfill your own obligations correct all your mistakes, do what you need to do without demanding from others.
Differences are unavoidable; the key is to seek harmony whether it is family, society, or nations, the clue is in one’s attitude. Seek common ground on major issues while reserving differences on minor ones and, if you come together with sincerity and truthfulness, no problem cannot be solved.
