Setting goals for others is aggressive. It’s really about wanting a success story for ourselves, we are asking them to live up to our ideals. You should never have expectations for others, just be kind to them. If people mess up, do anything you can to bring some happiness into their lives.
When we first start our self cultivation practice, we only get glimpses of the balance it gives you, but in time this understanding becomes deeper. Continued ongoing practice will balance your body, mind and soul and will eliminate physical and mental constraints.
Settle your mind like the universe settles the stars in the night sky. Connecting your mind to that subtle origin it will become calm and then it will naturally expand and ultimately, your mind becomes as vast and immeasurable as the night sky.
In good times people tend to indulge in worldly pleasures and live day to day. It is easy to delight in your own pleasures and forget the delight of others. If you have accomplished a special achievement and you remain humble, others will join you in your delight and joy.
