When you compete, study your competition for their strengths and weaknesses and place yourself strategically. A competitor trains their body and mind to perfection, seeking to eliminate as many of their own vulnerabilities as possible.
Since the advent of civilization, we have exchanged our natural harmony for ego-orientated lifestyles. Clinging to our old habitual ways of doing things keeps us chained to a lifestyle that violates our true nature. We have the ways and means to liberate ourselves, just look.
The situation may be up to others, but creation is up to oneself. Discipline will enable you to develop and be creative, but you must adapt to changes. Too much discipline can become restrictive and stifling. If you practice discipline and keep joy in your hearts, your mind will be at peace.
