Entrenched in the tunnel vision of our personal concerns, what we ignore is our kinship with others. We need to understand that when we do harm to another, we do harm to ourselves. If we train in opening our hearts and minds, we will find that others are no different than ourselves.
When you relax completely there is total silence. Sit down each day for a short time and empty yourself, you will experience a deep satisfying sense of peace. If you can return to this relaxed state on a regular basis all thoughts, troubles and problems become relaxed as well.
Don’t look at evil as a force to resist, but simply as an opaqueness, a state of self-absorption which is in disharmony with the universal process so that, as with a dirty window, the light cannot shine through. This allows you great compassion for the wicked and the selfish.
Even though you have strength and ability, you may regard others with envy or expect them to provide nourishment for you that you should be obtaining for yourself, from this you may infer that you have possibility lost touch with your intuition.
