Self-importance hurts us, limiting us to our narrow world of likes and dislikes. We take ourselves so seriously that we are never satisfied. We become bored always looking for the next thing that will make us even more important. Be curious and practice acceptance, this is the best use of our lives.
All parts of our personality, no matter how perfectly formed, only enclose what is inside of us. All our self-practice binds us into a cohesive whole, but it only points to the emptiness in the center that gives us the space and openness for life experiences to enter.
Give up all concepts, judgements and desires and your mind will grow naturally compassionate. The more we let go of what we love, the more present our love becomes. The clearer our insight into what is beyond good and evil, the more we can embody the good.
If one’s strength is great, one can progress and contribute one’s talent to society, but your motivation should be pure. Being too firm in one’s character will lead to difficulties in dealing with society. If you are not firm enough, you will find it difficult to deal with everyday life.
