Are we going to spend this lifetime struggling against uncertainty and saying, “I’m like this and you’re like that?” or are we going to train in letting go, reconnecting with the natural flexibility of our being and helping others do the same? If we do this, limitless possibilities open up.
As we go through the various phases in our life it is important to make the shift from one stage to another. We usually do this shift with a rite of passage, such as graduation, marriage, etc. It is important to know when to close one phase and when to open the next.
It is possible to be a gentle contemplative hermit right here in the middle of everything, utterly unaffected, thoroughly sustained and rewarded by your integral practices. Encouraging others, giving freely to all, awakening and purifying the world with all you do.
Difficulties and obstructions throw a man back on himself. Do not blame others for your mistakes, look for the errors within yourself and, through this introspection, any obstruction becomes an occasion for inner enrichment and education.
