Open yourself up to the continually changing, impermanent nature of your own being and that of reality. You will increase your capacity, to care about others and not to be afraid. You will begin to think of your life as offering endless opportunities to start to do things differently.
Our faith is not our parent or protector; it is here only to inspire us to be better people. Whether we choose belief or defiance, what is precious is that we are able to choose. Spirituality is only great when it allows the utmost freedom to follow it; it is our choice.
Neither become obsessed with circumstances nor forgo awareness of them. Let go of all conflict and strife, practice unswerving kindness and unending patience. Give whatever you can without restraint, you then become one with the receiver and both become the giver.
With your family, the performance of moral duty is easier because of natural affection. This same moral duty you practice with your family and that your family practices will also be reflected with all of your relationships outside of your family in society.
Quote: Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you’ll understand what little chance you have in trying to change others.
