Fully acknowledge your sadness and the sadness of life, but do not be consumed by it. Remember your true nature, of balance and completeness, joining vision with practicality. This quality of being continuously awake will help you remember who you really are.
Whatever your method of self-cultivation is, prayer, meditation or exercise, do it every day. It is inevitable that you will gain a sense of well-being from it. A constant practice gives you a sense of satisfaction and you can take comfort in the momentum it gives you.
If you correct your mind the rest of your life will fall into place because the mind is the governing aspect of human life. To correct your mind, rely on not doing, clinging to things and avoid daydreaming. This will allow your original insight to emerge, and help clear the mind.
Political structures change, as do nations, but life and our basic life’s needs remain eternally the same. These needs cannot be changed no matter our disposition or education. The need for harmony can be achieved when a leader and people work together in cooperation with a unity of purpose.
