Self-cultivation takes us just as we are with our confusion and our sanity, it gives us time alone with ourselves. In time it teaches you to accept who you are, as you are, an unconditional friendliness with ourselves, a simple direct relationship with the way we are.
We should not abandon faith in higher beings. Faith is a wonderful way of describing what happens to us. Faith does not have to be confirmed by some objective occurrence, good and bad things happen. If we strive to become better people, then faith has results.
Do not accumulate possessions or teach others to amass things. Devote yourself to learning the natural rhythms of nature and follow them. Live simply and serenely, sensitive to the changes that naturally occur and adjust so you are compatible with the energies of the day.
When you discover you are distancing and alienating yourself from others, you need to set about eliminating that which blocks your way. Rouse yourself inwardly, with moderation and goodwill, hasten to that which supports you, then all occasion for remorse will disappear.
