Life is a good teacher and a good friend; things are always changing. That off-center state we feel with change is the ideal situation where we can open our hearts and minds beyond limit. That state is a very tender, nonaggressive, open-ended state of affairs.
When we do self-cultivation, we should do it without any thought of gain and holding no expectations. We are taught what to expect from books and teachers so we are prepared for the experiences that will occur, but they are merely descriptions of what you may encounter.
Begin a large task in its formative state because larger problems grow from small ones. You can accomplish great tasks with a series of small acts. Be aware of those who promise quick and easy solutions, accept problems as challenges, do not dwell on them, take action.
Generally, when something is complete, we let the success turn our heads and look for something else to do. When something is complete, we should guide its course to the start of another new achievement. This way the first achievement will not start to decay or decline.
Quote: Change your life today. Don’t gamble on the future, act now, without delay.
