Nothing in the realm of thoughts or ideologies is absolute. Because of this, there is nothing more futile than relying on the mind. Quiet your thinking, quit making distinctions between one thing and another, just stay in your center and accept all things as being part of you.
Some cultures historically held respect for elders or reverence for ancestors in highest regard and as a sacred duty. Yet few of us see the point in all this: if we, as heirs, understand the perspective of heirs, if we know this in our hearts, we will be less inclined to be bad ancestors ourselves.
