Practice opening up to whatever you feel rather than shutting down on yourself, by doing this something will shift permanently in us. We will find that our habitual patterns will begin to soften and we will begin to see the faces and hear the words of people who are talking to us.
We all understand the need to retreat into nature on a regular basis. We cannot maintain the fertility of our beings without this renewal. If you cannot retreat into nature each day, find a quiet time each day to withdraw into yourself; this will bring renewal as well.
There are three things to treasure: simplicity, patience, and compassion. Simple in your actions and thoughts and you return to the source of being. Patience with both friends and enemies, you accord with the way things are. Compassionate towards yourself and all is at peace.
When embarking on a new project or adventure, take the time to prepare and have the discipline to keep your mind still when it is time for stillness and to take action when it is time for action. The key to success is knowing when to advance and knowing when to keep still.
