Self-importance hurts us, limiting us to our narrow world of likes and dislikes. We have alternatives, we can challenge our beliefs, our fixed version of reality and train in staying open and curious; train in dissolving our assumptions and beliefs. This is the best use of our lives.
Spirituality lies in the ordinary everyday things you do, the only way to describe it is by comparing it to ordinary things. If you regard spirituality as extraordinary, then it remains outside yourself – a myth, a fantasy, an unnamable quantity, but once you know it, it is part of your daily life.
Without thinking about good and evil we can simply live totally in our human natures, not compromising anyone else. Give evil nothing to oppose and it will disappear by itself, just step out of its way. Do this by living a virtuous, selfless life and being of service to all.
To bring about abundance, a union of clarity of mind and energetic movement is needed. In periods of abundance, we become used to an easy situation, that is the time for caution and careful planning in preparation for the decline that must follow.
