When you meet someone keep your heart and mind open and without any agenda to make them right or wrong. Could you see, hear, feel people just as they really are? This is a powerful practice; only true communication can happen in this open space.
Do not allow yourself to be hobbled by the woes and alienation of your race or nation. It is our responsibility to overcome these, even if we only succeed in our hearts. Once you find this in your heart you will never be frightened by the threat of alienation again.
When you take care of things, never waste anything; when you care for people, never abandon anyone. If you are not attached to your own ideas, and open to what is, you will be able to care for all that come to you. They are your greatest sources of wisdom.
Fellowship among us should be based on concerns that are universal. Lasting fellowship should not be the private interests of individuals, but rather the goals of humanity. Fellowship in the open succeeds, if unity like this prevails even difficult and dangerous tasks can be accomplished.
