When we think something is going to bring us pleasure or misery, we really don’t know what is going to happen. Letting there be room for not knowing is the most important thing of all. We don’t know if it is the end of a story or the beginning of a great adventure.
You may outgrow a community or group you belong to, when this happens it is all right to let go. You may outgrow a particular stage, but there is always a new one to explore. Sometimes you need to break the rules, do a fresh start. Do so with joy in your heart and you will be correct.
When we lose trust in ourselves, we begin to depend on authority. When people no longer fear the power of authority, a greater empowerment appears never needing to enforce itself. You will then work naturally to fulfill yourself and meet your community needs.
True joy comes from within, but we are tempted by diversions that come streaming in from without. Build your inner stability and strength, then amusements and outside indulgences will not be tempting. Do not depend on external influences to control your life.
