All of us, including animals, believe the best way to live is to avoid pain and discomfort. A more interesting way to live is to be curious whether the object of our curiosity is bitter or sweet. We can endure a lot to find out how we tick and how our world ticks, how the whole thing just is.
Why do we make the choices we do? Our choices are constrained by many things: economic circumstances, society and more. It is by our choices that we assign the meanings to objects and relationships, but in the end, there is no escaping the feeling that it is all arbitrary.
We live a bewildered life, we struggle to know things, and whether there is a purpose to this existence. Just look behind all this and see the joy and simplicity in all things. Remain centered and act from your heart, then all things will be in harmony and you will be at peace.
To remove obstacles in life, join forces with others of like mind, in this way you succeed. You also must have the will to persevere, even if the action appears to lead away from the goal. An obstruction that only lasts for a time is useful for self-development.
Quote: If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things. Albert Einstein
