When something hurts in life, we want to get rid of it right away. Doing this we naively cultivate a subtle aggressiveness against ourselves. Instead, we could aspire to be kind right in the moment, to relax, and open our heart and mind to what is right in front of us.
We have many different names for the absolute, the ancients call it the Tao. We cannot know it directly because it has no definitions or references. The only way to fathom it is to remove our sense of division from it, plunge into the mystery itself, only then will we know peace.
There is an alternative way of living, start with detoxifying the mental-emotional spiritual garbage we all inherit. Do this by returning to our own humanity, we can then realize our full human potential, enabling us to transform our institutions and ourselves.
To make successful progress you must be in harmony with the natural laws. In times of progress and successful development it is necessary to work and make the best use of the times. These times of increase do not endure; therefore, they must be utilized while they last.
