There has to be a revision of all traditions and customs if not to degenerate into superstition, but the true substance of any tradition can take new form without compromising its inherent character, otherwise they become outmoded beliefs and will fade away.
When you take care of things, never waste anything; when you care for people, never abandon anyone. If you are not attached to your own ideas, and open to what is, you will be able to care for all that comes to you. They are your greatest sources of wisdom.
