The main part of these teachings is to help us dissolve the dualistic struggle against what is happening to us. Rather than struggle or back away from what is happening, move toward the difficulty. We can use everything that happens to us as the means for waking up.
We must learn skill and ethics thoroughly; we must come to embody them so completely that they become subconscious, so that when something happens there is no doubt of what to do. Reacting to a situation by asking what is right or wrong is to slow, you must do intuitively what is correct.
Our ego is fascinated by the realms of the senses, going from one desire to the next, one conflict to the next and one self-centred idea to the next. Keep your mind from wandering, keep to your original oneness, let events take their natural course and understand things by letting them go.
Talents and abilities are gifts that you possess that have a higher purpose behind them, but they only gain value by what they are used for. The integrity of your gifts will lose their power if you boast about them or become distracted by comparing them to others.
