Caring for things, in moments of appreciation, in moments of gratitude and letting go of holding on to ourselves will start to awaken our heart. Whenever we connect with, sorrow or joy, dropping our resentments and complaints will help us to awaken further.
Whatever we take from another, we should try and give back something. No one should lean on another person or expect them to carry them a long distance down the road. Friends should walk side by side without becoming dependent on each other.
Practice the four cardinal virtues. First, reverence for all life, love and respect all beings and things. Second, sincerity; this manifests as honesty and simplicity. Third, kindness, being gentle with yourself and others. The fourth, service to others with no expectation of reward.
When we are dealing with mistakes and errors of others, do not dwell on them. Just simply pass them over, that is if they are unintentional transgressions, and forgive misdeeds right away. Then conditions will ease and we can make our way back to ordinary conditions as soon as possible.
