The ancients teach the middle way. This encourages us to feel what we feel and deal with that feeling, good or bad, just stay with it. Do not judge what arises in your mind, don’t grasp at it, just let thoughts come and go. This way you stop struggling and discover an unbiased way of being.
There are days when everything feels disengaged and you feel “what is the point of my self practice?” It is all right to skip a day, but if it is because of laziness or indifference, you must practice anyhow, even if you are just going through the motions; half the time something significant will happen.
Nothing is absolute; this is why you can’t rely on your mind. To arrive at unshakeable quiet, stop thinking, analyzing and making distinctions between things. Simply see that you are at the center of the universe and accept all things as being part of you.
Natural laws are based on the principle of movement along the lines of least resistance. In nature all movement is in harmony with these laws. These laws are not forces external to things but represent the harmony of movement immanent in them.
