Some say our path is up the mountain but in reality, the path is down, not up. Instead of transcending suffering, we should explore the unpredictability of insecurity and pain. This will awaken us from fear and there we will discover the love and compassion for ourselves and all others.
With the emergence of great possibilities comes the need for responsibility. If you diverge from your life path to explore new vistas, remember how far you are going and remember to return at the proper times. Remember only you can decide how to arrange your life.
Keeping to the receptive allows the creative to rise. The creative and the receptive are complementary sides of the same process. To be creative, accept the world as it is, return to the innocence of childhood and become receptive to all that comes your way like a newborn.
If you wish to influence others, first start by cultivating your own personality. This practice must be allowed to take its course, being hasty would not be wise. Gentleness that is adaptable, but at the same time penetrating, is the outer form that should proceed from inner calm.
Quote: We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are.
