Do not shut anyone out of your heart and don’t make the other into an enemy. If we live like this, we can’t make things right or wrong anymore. Everything is ambiguous, there are as many different takes on any situation as there are people involved.
Meditation is not something reserved for spiritual seekers. Meditation is a process of discovery, of slowly exploring how you function as a human being. It is for everybody and especially helpful in troubled times, seek out a teacher and practice diligently.
Not all spiritual paths lead to the truth, most are detours and distractions. Trust the plainness and simplicity of your life’s paths, living with unconditional sincerity, eradicating all duality, celebrate the equality of all things, then every moment will be the truth.
If we remain at the mercy of moods, of hope, and of fear, aroused by the outer world, we lose out inner consistency of character. Then our experiences are merely effects produced by the outside world, not experiences evoked by our own true nature.
