What we regard as obstacles are not really our enemies but could be considered our teachers and friends. What we call obstacles is the way our experiences teach us about where we are stuck. How we experience obstacles depends mostly on our relationship with ourselves.
We use the word longevity, not because we want to live forever, but because it symbolizes our determination to live the entire course of our lives well. Our total emphasis should be on living, enjoying the fruits and labours of what we do everyday.
True growth comes from meeting and solving the problems of life in a way that is harmonizing to yourself and others. Serve others and cultivate yourself simultaneously; if you can follow these simple old ways, you will be continually renewed.
At the beginning of things, they are maybe unclear, there may be many choices and the lack of direction may make things uncomfortable. First muster your internal strength and, if possible, seek direction and guidance from others, then a more concrete plan will unfold.
