Emotional turmoil begins with an initial perception of an action, word, sight or sound, that leads to a feeling of discomfort. When you feel that initial tug remain steady, relax into the energy staying present with the experience; this takes a lot of practice.
As we mature, we have created layers of interpretation and biased perception; those are our templates for living. What if we changed or eliminated our templates, and gave up our prejudices, loving every experience as if it was new and fresh like a child at play?
Your mind is like the sky, if it’s cloudy you will not see it, but that doesn’t mean its not there. All our miseries and conflicts are created by the activity of the mind. Let go of words, ideas, attitudes and expectations, then you will see the truth that’s always available to you.
No matter how difficult a situation there is always a way to work it out. Your attitude when dealing with it is very important. Before starting, you should fully plan; after finishing, deeply reflect. During action be content with small successes, do not rush or continue in the same old way.
