All of us are like eagles who have forgotten we know how to fly and are trapped in our nest of old food, excrement and stale air. We need to let go of everything and step to the edge of our nest and soar. The ancient teachings keep reminding us of who we are and what we can do.
Ownership is an artificial constraint, that exists by definition only. You don’t even own your own body. Ownership would mean total control; you would never age or suffer. We live without any control of what really happens to us. Why not seek the truth that goes beyond the body?
When we lose trust in ourselves, we begin to depend on authority. When people no longer fear the power of authority, a greater empowerment appears, never needing to enforce itself. You will then work naturally to fulfill yourself and meet your community needs.
The force of inner truth depends chiefly on inner stability and preparedness. From this state, the mind springs the correct attitude towards the outer world. Retain your inner independence, this way you will have inner peace and the power to deal with the outside world.
Quote: If we can change someone’s vision of the future, we can change the way they make decisions today.
