Do not shut anyone out of your heart and don’t make the other into an enemy. When we open our hearts, we can’t make things completely right or wrong anymore. Trying to find absolute rights and wrongs is a trick we play on ourselves to feel secure and comfortable.
Anything is a subject for a poem, just look around you. You can write a poem when you are upset, when you are walking, anytime is a good time to write a poem. The ancients where quite serious that if you wished to know about life cultivate the poet in yourself.
We are busy with our lives doing things, but discover we are also bored, always looking for ways to relieve this boredom. Practice living naturally, working virtuously, this will fill you with vitality and you will never be bored, you can know this by looking inside your heart.
Living a life of sincerity and integrity is not any guarantee against bad luck or ugly surprises. But life has learned that these traits will improve the odds of success; that working with a natural merit and practicing a natural good can be two of the best rules one can live by.
