Meditation is the only activity that doesn’t add anything to the picture. It is a totally nonviolent, nonaggressive practice. Not filling the space, allowing for the possibility of connecting with unconditional openness; this practice provides the basis for real change.
We need to perceive the moment of decline and prepare for it. It is important to think of decline as something natural and inevitable. Therefore, there should be no emotional values attached to it. It simply happens, and that is all.
When you have no enemy, you will always be victorious. If you have enemies, never underestimate them. Underestimating your enemy is thinking that they are evil, thus you become an enemy yourself. Victory will always go to the one that knows how to yield.
If you encounter difficulties at the beginning of an enterprise do not force it, just pause, take thought and persevere keeping your goal in sight. Seek out the right help, seek out the help with the utmost humility, then you will be able to combat the difficulties and succeed.
