When we think something is going to bring pleasure or misery, we don’t know. Letting there be room for not knowing is the most important thing of all. We don’t know if it is the end of a story or the beginning of a great adventure.
Spiritual attainment lies in the ordinary everyday things you do and the only way to describe it is by comparing it to ordinary things. If you regard spirituality as extraordinary, then it remains outside yourself -a myth, a fantasy, an unnamable quantity. But, once you know it, it is part of your daily life.
Give yourself up to whatever the moment brings, there is nothing to hold onto. Let go of illusions, offer no resistance to things. Don’t think about your actions, just flow from the core of your being, hold nothing back from life.
True greatness depends on being in harmony with what is right and doing things in harmony with the established order. We should go on quietly and perseveringly working at the removal of resistance, then success will come. The less power you apply outwardly the greater the effect.
