Be kind to yourself, be kind to the quality of your being. When we feel bad in some way about ourselves, loving kindness towards ourselves is the way to treat this feeling. This becomes the basis for extending the same unconditional friendliness towards others.
All things are relative to their surroundings and to us. Things may be subtly different to someone else; it is worth considering these differences. We must engage fully in life to become aware of these differences and be constantly aware of their subtle changes.
If you seek people’s approval, you become bound to them. Do your work and step back, let it be, this is the path to serenity. If you want others approval, share what you have with them and you will be immersed in their blessings.
It is difficult to bring quiet to the heart. Being still when it’s time to be still and going forward when it is time; in this way rest and movement agree, this will help quiet the heart. We cannot force quiet and calmness, but they must develop naturally out of state of inner composure. This will bring you peace of mind and you will act in harmony with the laws of the universe.
