We regard loneliness as being alone, as a heartache, something we choose not to invite in. We desire to escape it and find someone to keep us company. Rest in the middle; then we can have a relationship with loneliness, a relaxed and cooling relationship that turns our fearful patterns around.
When we meditate, select a place where you won’t be disturbed with nature close by. This way we can slip into serenity and this will help bring our humanity into focus.
Being of service to others without expectation of reward, not talking about it, just practice this way of being and you will be rewarded with the way you feel about yourself. We are always doing things, but there is always more to do. Just step back and ask yourself is all this doing necessary. Look inside, be quiet and you will find truth and contentment.
If you encounter difficulties at the beginning of an enterprise, try not to force it. Just pause and take thought; but you must persevere and keep your goal in sight. Seek out the right help, but avoid arrogance. Seek out the help with the utmost humility and then you will be able combat the difficulties and succeed.
